Overview

Our client, a leading Omaha-based organization, is seeking an experienced Recruiter for a 6–9 month temporary assignment to support their growing hiring needs. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, people-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys connecting candidates with the right opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and screen resumes for a high volume variety of open positions.
  • Conduct phone screenings to assess candidate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand role requirements and tailor sourcing strategies.
  • Maintain applicant tracking systems (ATS) and ensure accurate, up-to-date candidate records.
  • Assist with sourcing candidates through job boards, social media, networking, and referrals.
  • Support the recruiting team with additional tasks and projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a recruiter, talent acquisition specialist, or in a related HR role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and online recruiting tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and roles at once.
  • A proactive, adaptable approach with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Duration: 6–9 months
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
  • Compensation: Up to $30/hour
