Overview
We are recruiting for the US subsidiary of one of our clients, a Parisian management consulting firm.
Job Title: HR Manager – New York Office
Context:
As part of the strong growth of our New York office and our ambitions for the coming years, we are creating an HR Manager position to structure and lead local HR functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment: Develop and implement a recruitment strategy to attract top talent in strategy consulting.
- Training & Development: Establish and adapt the training plan to local specificities while optimizing existing programs.
- Employee Support: Oversee employee development and contract management.
- Performance Evaluation: Implement end-of-project, semi-annual, and annual evaluation processes in alignment with group standards.
- Staffing: Collect and analyze consultants\' preferences and affinities to communicate with the Global Staffing Manager.
- International Mobility: Manage and coordinate consultant mobility between New York and the others offices.
- Litigation Management: Handle potential legal cases in collaboration with local lawyers, and with the support of the HR team in Paris.
Coordination & Interactions
- Close collaboration with the Paris-based HR team (head office).
- Regular exchanges with other international offices (London, Frankfurt, Shanghai, Singapore) to align best HR practices.
Profile
- Proven experience in HR, ideally in consulting or within a fast-paced international environment.
- Strong knowledge of US HR regulations (recruitment, training, labor law, talent management).
- Ability to thrive in a multicultural and high-growth environment.
- Autonomy, pro-activity, and a strong sense of service to employees.
