Location: SF Headquarters, Oakland Office or Utah Warehouse. Employment type: Full Time. On-site requirement: Yes. Work shift: Day.

Responsibilities

• Execute and document routine inspection and maintenance activities.
• Manage trash disposal, tidy furniture, and dust surfaces.
• Sweep and mop floors and vacuum carpets.
• Sanitize restrooms, lunchroom, common areas and all major fixtures and countertops (e.g. water fountains).
• Stock all restrooms with soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
• Maintain cleaning equipment in proper condition.
• Assist in maintenance of outer premises including watering plants, mowing lawn, and cleaning entrances.
• Complete miscellaneous heavy cleansing tasks and special projects as needed.
• Conduct safety and security measures including securing doors and windows and helping to prevent fire or other damages.
• Comply with all necessary health and safety regulations.
• Report issues to the Facilities Manager as needed.
• Maintain inventory of janitorial supplies.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience as janitor or in a similar maintenance role.
• High school diploma is preferred.
• Knowledge of use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances.
• Proficient in documentation processes.
• Ability to work cooperatively with diverse groups of individuals from a variety of educational, social and economic backgrounds.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to frequently lift/carry/push/pull at minimum 35 lbs.
• Ability to regularly bend at the waist, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop.
• Ability to stand on hard surfaces for an extended period of time.
