PCI Federal is hiring: Janitor in Sacramento

Overview

Janitor position at PCI Federal / Fortis Industries. This is a full-time role located in the McClellan Park area. The successful candidate will have experience in janitorial procedures. Fortis will provide tools and equipment for contracted services. A favorable background check is required to access a secure government facility. Reliable transportation to and from the facility is required.

Responsibilities

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Gather and empty trash (facility and perimeter).
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaners.
• Prepare cleaning solutions by mixing water and detergents or acids according to specifications.

This is a Monday–Friday position, typically 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM (includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch break); hours may vary slightly on some days.

Applicant must receive favorable background and drug screen results and meet eligibility requirements for access to government facilities.

Qualifications

• Preferred experience: Janitor – 1 year

Pay and Benefits

• Base pay: $18.21 per hour
• Health and Welfare: $4.93 per hour up to 40 hours per week (benefits eligibility)
