Join TEGNA's team as a strategic Executive Assistant supporting C-level company executives. In this dynamic role, you'll manage complex administrative operations, drive executive effectiveness, and handle confidential matters with discretion while thriving in a fast-paced media environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary liaison between executives and stakeholders, coordinating high-level meetings and managing critical communications
  • Spearhead executive projects, including formal communications, presentations, and meeting materials
  • Proactively anticipate leadership needs and ensure timely delivery of key initiatives
  • Manage comprehensive executive support including calendar, travel logistics, expense reports, and incoming communications
  • Function independently, exercising judgment on time-sensitive matters
  • Provide backup support to other Executive Assistants as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience) with 5+ years of executive-level administrative experience
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding organizational abilities with proven success managing multiple competing priorities
  • Advanced MS Office proficiency, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint, with aptitude for new technologies
  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work independently
  • Results-driven mindset with unwavering commitment to excellence
  • Proven ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise professional judgment
