Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Unit Secretary, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care every day. You will create a welcoming, organized space where patients and families feel valued and informed. You will use clear, compassionate communication and attention to detail to keep the unit running smoothly and caring for others like family – one shift at a time.

Performs a variety of clerical and supportive tasks within a hospital unit, acting as a receptionist and assisting the patient care team. They are responsible for greeting patients and visitors, managing patient charts, handling communication, and maintaining the unit\'s organization and supplies.

HCA Florida JFK North Hospital is a 280-bed acute care facility with a 124-bed behavioral health unit, located in West Palm Beach, FL. The hospital serves Palm Beach County and offers a 24-hour Emergency Department, Advanced Primary Certified Stroke Center, Orthopedic Institute, Critical Care Unit and more.
