The Lobby Attendant is responsible for the overall cleanliness of the public areas and reporting deficiencies to ensure all areas are maintained in accordance with standards and procedures of public areas as set forth by Forbes and Chatham Bars Inn.

Chatham Bars Inn, located along the shores of Chatham, Massachusetts. A Forbes Five-Star resort with 217 rooms and suites across the Main Inn and cottage-style buildings, offering oceanfront experiences and a range of dining options and amenities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all public areas of the hotel are cleaned and maintained to the standard demonstrated by Housekeeping supervisory staff during initial training.
• Clean and sanitize public restrooms (sinks, mirrors, walls, toilets, floors); stock restrooms with paper products and amenities.
• Sweep, vacuum, extract, scrub, wax, and polish public area floors (interior and exterior).
• Clean and polish furniture and upholstered items; ensure they are maintained in the best condition.
• Dust furniture, wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Welcome guests and create a hospitable experience.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the manager.
