Must-Have Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing setting
• Strong computer skills, including MS Office and AutoCAD

Position Summary

The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for both launch activities and supporting existing production programs. This role works closely with production associates, supervisors, and managers to optimize plant operations, ensure efficiency, and implement best practices across processes and layouts.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update process books to align with current production processes
• Develop and manage process flows, PFMEA, operator description sheets, and ergonomic analyses (PEIL)
• Provide accurate and up-to-date plant layouts to support efficient strike zone workstations
• Analyze workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow to design layouts for maximum efficiency
• Implement best practices for material flow and manufacturing processes
• Provide technical support to evaluate and implement value-add improvements
• Develop and maintain indirect material handling labor tools and balancing methods
• Maintain central databases for plant layouts, process books, labor tools, and lean manufacturing documentation
• Estimate production times, staffing requirements, and resource allocation for future manufacturing needs
• Apply statistical methods to forecast and optimize production processes
• Ensure compliance with all company safety policies, procedures, and rules
