This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hebron, Kentucky.
Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year.

Responsibilities
- Optimize workforce, space, and workflow for efficient manufacturing operations.
- Design equipment layouts and collaborate on product and tooling for production efficiency.
- Specify and procure equipment, materials, and tooling based on quality standards.
- Evaluate suppliers and oversee technical decisions for production equipment.
- Manage equipment implementation from delivery to production handoff.
- Create documentation, maintenance plans, and training materials.
- Estimate production time, staffing, and costs for new and existing products.
- Develop and troubleshoot processing parameters for elastomeric materials.
- Support daily production and collaborate with teams to improve processes.
- Ensure compliance with TS through procedures and workflows.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on manufacturing engineering experience.
- Experience in the automotive industry.
- Bachelor's degree or 10+ years of relevant manufacturing engineering experience in lieu of education.
- Proven experience in managing projects and applying lean principles such as Kaizen, 5S, and Six Sigma.
- Proficient in ROI justification, ergonomic design, GD&T interpretation, statistical methods, and SPC charts.
- Understanding of PPAP documentation, APQP, and TS compliance.
Additional Skills
- Extensive automotive experience.
- Thorough understanding of TS standards.
Work Environment
Work in a fast-paced manufacturing and production environment specializing in plastic and metal-bonding rubber components. The operation is spread across two buildings, with plans to condense into one by the end of the year.
