The Role

The Laborer is responsible for a variety of tasks within the manufacturing environment. Maintains a clean and safe working environment. Performs general housekeeping within production facilities. Tasks include shoveling, sweeping, organizing, etc. as needed. Assists operators in production when necessary. Opera te a lift truck, power, or air tool to accomplish designated tasks.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Adherence to all company policies, including the use of personal protective equipment and other health, safety, and environmental procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Perform general housekeeping within production facilities.
• Perform tasks such as shoveling, sweeping, organizing, etc., as needed.
• Assist operators in production when necessary.
• Report all problems that may inhibit the production of a quality product to the foreman or supervisor.
• Operate a lift truck, power, or air tool to accomplish designated tasks.
• Regular and predictable attendance is essential to this position.

What We Are Looking For

• A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent education or experience is required.
• At least two years’ experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• General knowledge of the production process is valuable.
• Must have strong communication skills working within a diverse population.
• Tolerance for repetitive work in a fast-paced, high productive work environment.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 750 pounds and regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
