Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional lifetime patient care with full clinical autonomy and dedicated time for patients.
• Participate in the hygiene mentorship program and access to ongoing education and coaching to enhance clinical skills.
• Collaborate with a supportive team and utilize Heartland Dental resources to deliver high-quality care.
• Contribute to a practice with structured scheduling and a focus on work-life balance.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in MO and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Experienced Hygienist and New Graduates
• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventative care
• Clinical needs as required by office

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary with or without reasonable accommodation
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds occasionally
• Availability to attend virtual or in-person training sessions periodically
• TB test required for all new hires in dental office positions (not applicable in FL & TN); arranged during pre-employment process
