Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional lifetime patient care with full clinical autonomy and dedicated time for patients.
- Participate in the hygiene mentorship program and access to ongoing education and coaching to enhance clinical skills.
- Collaborate with a supportive team and utilize Heartland Dental resources to deliver high-quality care.
- Contribute to a practice with structured scheduling and a focus on work-life balance.
Minimum Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in MO and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
Preferred Experience
- Experienced Hygienist and New Graduates
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventative care
- Clinical needs as required by office
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds occasionally
- Availability to attend virtual or in-person training sessions periodically
- TB test required for all new hires in dental office positions (not applicable in FL & TN); arranged during pre-employment process
