Elite Spice Inc is hiring: Production Manager - Night Shift in Sparks

Position

Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the production operations of the plant, all scheduling operations for production, and ensuring food safety and employee safety. This role enforces Elite Spice’s policies and procedures and is onsite for a Monday-Friday night shift from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.

Essential Functions

• Responsible for ensuring food safety
• Oversees all production operations
• Coaches, disciplines, and evaluates Production Supervisors and leads
• Oversees compliance with all federal, state, and applicable guidelines
• Participates in walk-throughs and meetings with government agencies
• Ensures production operations meet company goals and standards
• Participates in customer audits and plant tours
• Participates in evaluating raw materials and supply chains
• Complies with all food safety and general safety laws and regulations
• Member of HACCP, GMP, Crisis Management, and Food Defense teams
• Assists with planning and implementing policies and procedures
• Attends all applicable meetings and trainings
• Enforces and complies with Elite Spice policies, procedures, general safety, and food safety guidelines
• Enforces and follows all Good Manufacturing Practices
• Displays a professional attitude

Qualifications

• Ability to be organized and follow up on tasks
• Ability to receive and provide instructions in a positive manner
• Previous management experience (minimum 2 years)
• Interpersonal, leadership, problem-solving, and time management skills
• Prior knowledge of food manufacturing processes
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a team setting and independently
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Adobe Reader/Acrobat
• Bilingual is a plus
• SharePoint experience is a plus
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and fitness for duty test
