What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Prepare and submit reports related to VAT and Sales and Use Tax obligations in the US and Canada
• Ensure accuracy of ERP data by performing controls and liaising with accounts payable and receivable teams
• Analyze invoices for compliance with local tax laws and request corrections as necessary
• Support the team in interactions with public entities, including tax and statistical authorities
• Monitor changes in tax law across various jurisdictions and assist tax advisors with filings

What is Required (Qualifications)

• Experience in a Tax department, particularly in a big 4 environment focused on tax and reporting
• Bachelor\'s or master\'s degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance, Management, or a related field; chartered accountant qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CTA, CPA, etc.) are highly valued
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience with SAP is a plus
• Previous remote work experience is considered advantageous
