With a growing network of retail stores, we’re seeking Retail Supervisors who will lead store teams on the ground, ensure smooth operations, and deliver outstanding customer and online fulfillment experiences.
Role Overview
The Retail Supervisor is a hands-on leader responsible for overseeing daily operations within a single PAWLS retail location. This role includes managing and motivating store associates, ensuring sales goals are achieved, supporting online order fulfillment, and maintaining excellent customer service and store standards.
Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Supervise daily store operations to ensure efficiency and consistency.
- Operational Leadership: Support the Store Manager in executing company policies, procedures, and initiatives.
- Operational Leadership: Monitor store performance metrics and assist in achieving sales targets.
- Team Support & Development: Provide daily leadership, coaching, and motivation to store associates.
- Team Support & Development: Assist with training, onboarding, and scheduling of employees.
- Team Support & Development: Foster teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment.
- Sales & Customer Service: Lead by example in delivering excellent customer service.
- Sales & Customer Service: Drive sales through active customer engagement and upselling.
- Sales & Customer Service: Handle customer inquiries and escalations with professionalism and care.
- Fulfillment & Store Standards: Oversee accurate and timely in-store fulfillment of online orders.
- Fulfillment & Store Standards: Ensure shelves are stocked, organized, and merchandised to company standards.
- Fulfillment & Store Standards: Maintain cleanliness, safety, and operational compliance within the store.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2–4 years in retail supervisory or team lead roles; pet retail or specialty retail experience a plus.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to coach and motivate a team.
- Knowledge: Customer service practices, basic inventory management, and POS systems.
- Personal Attributes: Energetic, adaptable, dependable, and customer-focused.
