Federal Express Corporation is hiring: Courier/DOT-3 in Minneapolis

Overview

Driver / operator of company vehicles. Provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and provides related customer service functions. Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up packages using company vehicles in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Check shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards and perform related customer service functions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

High school diploma/GED. Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and to maneuver packages above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Neat appearance required due to customer contact.
• Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Medical exam required in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations. Non-covered safety-sensitive position.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with traffic safety officials as required by FMCSA guidance.

Preferred Qualifications

Pay Transparency: Pay: $22.11 to $32.83 Per Hour (Position will start at $22.11).

Additional Details: Full-Time: Tuesday - Saturday 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
