Overview

Position: Forklift Operator Warehouse at Ryder Supply Chain Solutions — Spring Hill, Tennessee. Immediate hiring for Temporary Material Handlers in Spring Hill, Tennessee.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse duties which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Work within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Ensure accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for aspects related to the automated packing system during core production hours
• Perform duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator’s License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; able to work in a diverse environment
• Highly thorough, dependable, punctual with good attendance
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs; stand for long periods
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule on various shifts
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices

Compensation and Schedule

• Hourly Pay: $20.33 per hour
• Overtime Pay: $30.50 per hour
• Additional Pay: $1.25 per hour when assigned to second shift
• Schedules: 2nd Shift Monday - Friday 4:00 pm - 12:30 am
• Warehouse positions pay weekly; on-the-job paid training
