Ryder Supply Chain Solutions is hiring: Warehouse Forklift Operator in San Anton

Overview

Ryder is immediately hiring a permanent full-time Material Handler in San Antonio, Texas. Warehouse positions pay weekly. Schedule: Second Shift Monday–Friday 5:00 pm – 1:30 am. Pay: $18.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Operate within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Ensure accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day-to-day warehouse paperwork (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during production core hours.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; able to work in a diverse environment.
• Thorough, dependable, punctual with good attendance.
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs; ability to stand for long periods; willingness to work flexible shifts.
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices.
