At Sunrise, our Care Manager is responsible for providing the highest quality care and services to a consistent group of residents and their families in our assisted living and reminiscence neighborhoods. The role offers opportunities to build meaningful relationships with residents, their families, and team members, while contributing to a positive, service-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Build meaningful relationships with a specified number of seniors and their families; assist with activities of daily living; attend to individual care needs; learn residents\' preferences and personalities; notify management of changes in condition and adjust care/service levels as needed; assist residents in life skills and other enriching activities as indicated on their profiles; blend multi-sensory experiences into the resident\'s day.
  • Participate in the development of Individualized Service Plans (ISP) and monthly updates.
  • Be responsible for your designated group of residents during the shift; know where residents are and check on them throughout the shift.
  • Partner with the community team to ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and promote Risk Management programs and policies; adhere to safety rules and regulations.
  • Respond to the dining needs of residents and guests while maintaining Sunrise hospitality and service standards.
  • Invite, Encourage, Assist (IEA) residents in life skills and other enriching activities as indicated on ISP and demographic profiles.
  • Commit to serving residents and guests through Sunrise Principles of Services.

Shifts

Shifts include Day 6a-2p, Evening 2-10p, and Overnight 10p-6a. Competitive pay; daily pay available.

Qualifications

  • Dedication to serving seniors with excellent customer service skills.
  • Positive attitude and flexibility to perform various duties; ability to work in a team environment.
  • High School diploma/GED accepted and may be required per state regulations.
  • In states where appropriate, must maintain certifications.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
  • Ability to make decisions in the resident\'s best interest; strong written and verbal communication; good organizational and time-management skills; sound judgment and problem-solving abilities.

Compensation

Selected candidates will be offered compensation based on geographic location of community, skills, experience, qualifications, and certifications/licenses (where applicable).
