Sunrise Senior Living – Sunrise of McLean Village, Job ID 2025-225325. This role involves providing high-quality care and services to a defined group of residents and their families in assisted living and reminiscence neighborhoods.

Responsibilities

  • Build meaningful relationships with a specified number of seniors and their families; assist with activities of daily living; attend to individual care needs; learn residents’ preferences and personalities; notify management of changes in condition and adjust care level as needed; support life skills and life-enriching activities per individual profiles; blend multi-sensory experiences into the resident’s day.
  • Participate in the development of Individualized Service Plans (ISP) and monthly updates.
  • Be responsible for a designated group of residents during the shift; know where residents are and check on them throughout the shift.
  • Partner with the community team to ensure OSHA compliance and promote risk management programs and policies; adhere to safety rules and regulations.
  • Respond to the dining needs of residents and guests while upholding Sunrise hospitality and service standards.
  • Invite, Encourage, Assist (IEA) residents in life skills and other life-enriching activities as indicated on ISP and demographic profile.
  • Commit to serving residents and guests through Sunrise’s Principles of Services.

Qualifications

  • Dedication to serving seniors with excellent customer service skills.
  • Positive attitude, flexibility to perform various duties in service to residents, and ability to work in a team environment.
  • High School diploma/GED (may be required per state regulations).
  • In states where appropriate, must maintain certifications.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
  • Ability to make choices and decisions in the resident’s best interest; strong written and verbal communication; good organizational and time-management skills; sound judgment and problem-solving abilities.

Compensation
