Office / Operations Manager – Owings Mills, MD

Furman | Honick Law, a growing trial law firm, is hiring an Office / Operations Manager to oversee daily operations, HR, finance, and office administration. This is a unique opportunity to take on a leadership role in a litigation firm where your operational expertise directly supports our attorneys and clients. This is a leadership role for a highly organized professional with proven office management and staff supervision experience (law firm background a plus, but not required).

What You'll Do

  • Manage office operations, vendor relationships, and IT coordination
  • Lead hiring, onboarding, payroll (Gusto), benefits, and staff performance
  • Oversee operating and IOLTA accounts, settlements, and vendor payments
  • Maintain Filevine CRM, case intake processes, and document systems
  • Support attorneys and paralegals to keep workflows efficient and compliant

What We're Looking For

You're a Great Fit If You Have

  • 5+ years of office management and staff supervision experience
  • HR and payroll/benefits administration background
  • Strong organizational and financial skills (IOLTA handling a plus)
  • Comfortable with CRM/case management software and Excel
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
