Job Opportunity: Jr. Software Engineer

My name is Justin, and I am a Diversity Talent Specialist at TEKsystems. We are partnering with a Premier Technology company to find several Jr. Software Engineers to join their team.

Position Details

• Long-term Contract
• Pay Rate: $40/hr, depending on experience + 15 days PTO (accrued over the year)
• Location: Hybrid, 3 days onsite in Sunnyvale, CA

Responsibilities

1. Monitoring system functionality
2. Providing ad hoc support
3. Bug fixing
4. Monitoring and adding test cases to the system
5. Building UI for raters
6. Building dataswarm pipelines
7. Creating widgets

Required Skills

1. Experience with operations such as debugging, fixing, monitoring, and/or optimizing an existing system
2. Experience with middle-tier development in a modern programming language such as Python, Ruby, PHP, GoLang, etc. (must be open to learning PHP)
3. Strong understanding of SQL
