Job Opportunity: Jr. Software Engineer
My name is Justin, and I am a Diversity Talent Specialist at TEKsystems. We are partnering with a Premier Technology company to find several Jr. Software Engineers to join their team.
Position Details
- Long-term Contract
- Pay Rate: $40/hr, depending on experience + 15 days PTO (accrued over the year)
- Location: Hybrid, 3 days onsite in Sunnyvale, CA
Responsibilities
- Monitoring system functionality
- Providing ad hoc support
- Bug fixing
- Monitoring and adding test cases to the system
- Building UI for raters
- Building dataswarm pipelines
- Creating widgets
Required Skills
- Experience with operations such as debugging, fixing, monitoring, and/or optimizing an existing system
- Experience with middle-tier development in a modern programming language such as Python, Ruby, PHP, GoLang, etc. (must be open to learning PHP)
- Strong understanding of SQL
