The Role
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Community Marketing Manager to lead our community marketing initiatives across Peachtree’s festival and event portfolio. This role will oversee all grassroots and market-level marketing efforts, manage the Community Marketing Coordinator(s), and drive partnerships that deepen community engagement in key markets. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, thrives in relationship-building, and has a proven ability to create authentic, localized marketing campaigns that move the needle on awareness and ticket sales.
Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee the overall community marketing strategy for Peachtree’s festival and event properties.
- Manage, mentor, and support Community Marketing Coordinator(s) and street teams to ensure consistent execution and measurable results.
- Align grassroots and community efforts with the central marketing team’s national campaigns for cohesive messaging.
Community & Partnership Development
- Build and maintain high-value relationships with chambers of commerce, CVBs, tourism boards, universities, Greek life organizations, and local businesses.
- Negotiate and activate partnership opportunities that drive awareness, engagement, and ticket sales.
- Serve as a key point of contact in festival markets to strengthen local ties and expand Peachtree’s presence.
- Identify and present opportunities for community partners to engage with festivals through hospitality suites, sponsorships, and premium experiences, leveraging local relationships to drive both sales and deeper market integration.
Grassroots Marketing Oversight
- Design and implement market-level activations including poster/flyer distribution, pop-up events, bar/restaurant partnerships, and themed promotional activities.
- Oversee the planning and execution of street team initiatives, ensuring accountability and ROI tracking.
- Represent Peachtree Entertainment at select community events and oversee the company’s presence at activations.
Market Research & Insights
- Lead market research to identify target audiences, competitive landscapes, and growth opportunities.
- Analyze grassroots campaign performance and community engagement metrics to inform strategy.
- Provide actionable reporting and recommendations to senior leadership.
Festival Support
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create community-driven digital and social content ideas.
- Oversee on-site marketing activations during festival weekends, ensuring strong brand presence and local integration.
- Serve as a lead on community-focused initiatives that elevate the festival experience for attendees.
What You Bring
Required
- 3–5 years of marketing, community engagement, or event-related experience with proven leadership responsibilities.
- Strong track record of building community partnerships and executing grassroots marketing campaigns.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects, teams, and deadlines.
- Willingness to travel to festival markets and work evenings/weekends as needed.
- Passion for live music, entertainment, and fostering meaningful community connections.
