The Digital Marketing Manager at Idaho Youth Ranch plays an essential role in helping connect families and young people who are facing adversity, trauma, and loss with caring adults who will help them get the safety and support they need to heal. You will be putting your unique talents and skills to work to redefine the future for Idaho’s kids while being part of a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Handles overall client acquisition strategies across digital and traditional platforms (Google, Social Media, Advertising, etc.).
  • Oversees the development and execution of program collateral that represents the organization and attracts clients.
  • Works closely with Director of Events and Event Coordinator to create and implement communication plans, graphics, webpages, fundraising pages, and other necessary assets for annual events, including Unite for Hope Gala, Wine Women & Shoes CDA, and Golf Tournament.
  • Plans, creates, and schedules copy and graphics for all Idaho Youth Ranch social networks, including: IYR Facebook, IYR Twitter, IYR Instagram, IYR LinkedIn, IYR Events Facebook, IYR Events Instagram, and Bear the Therapy Dog’s Twitter.
  • Engages in social listening on social channels and with people who reach out to us via social media.
  • Website management: creates new webpages, updates content on older pages, ensures website maintains IYR brand and functions properly.
  • Ensures IYR brand standards are up to date and works across agency to maintain adherence to brand standards.
  • Oversees marketing for IYR thrift stores, auto lot, and ecommerce.
  • Assists Human Resources and other departments in effectively marketing open positions.

Qualifications

Must Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing or related field or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of digital communications experience
  • Website management experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Publisher
  • Demonstrated knowledge of email communications
  • Excellent writing/editing and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred

  • Google Adwords/Youtube Certified is a plus

As a leader in our branding, website, and social media, you play a critical role in public understanding and support for Idaho Youth Ranch. Your design and messaging skills contribute to communication both within Idaho Youth Ranch and in the broader community.

This is a 501(c)(3) non-profit employer. The Idaho Youth Ranch is a qualifying employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PLSF) program. The PLSF offers student loan forgiveness on qualifying loans under specific conditions. Speak with your loan provider for more information.
