Overview

We are actively hiring a human resources generalist to work on site in the Energy Corridor area of Houston, TX making up to $80,000 per year plus up to 10% bonus.

Base pay range

$70,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr

Key Responsibilities

  • Human Resources: Administer employee benefits programs with precision and empathy.
  • Onboarding & offboarding: Coordinate logistics to ensure a seamless experience.
  • HRIS & records: Maintain HRIS and employee records with immaculate attention to detail.
  • Payroll & benefits: Support payroll and benefits workflows in partnership with our finance team.
  • Employee surveys & performance: Lead the administration of semi-annual employee surveys and performance review cycles.
  • General HR support: Provide HR administrative support and be a go-to resource for employee questions.
  • Business & Office Operations: Manage day-to-day operations of the Houston office, including supplies, vendors, and facilities.
  • Reception & communications: Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and employees in our Houston office.
  • Administrative tasks: Support scheduling and internal communications.
  • Process improvements: Help identify and implement process improvements across HR, business and office operations.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate across departments to support company-wide initiatives and maintain a positive office culture.

  • Zero errors in compensation and benefits processing.
  • Timely and accurate onboarding for new hires.
  • High participation and completion rates for surveys and reviews.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: At least 3 years in HR operations, payroll, or business operations. You have worked with HRIS systems (ADP strongly preferred) and understand the ins and outs of benefits administration and compliance.
  • Technical Skills: Comfortable navigating Microsoft 365 (Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, Copilot), and proficient with Excel and formulas.
  • Detail Orientation: You value accuracy, data integrity, and well-labeled folders, and fix inconsistencies proactively.
  • Organizational Strength: You thrive in structured environments and build systems that simplify work.
  • Communication & Discretion: Clear, professional, and trustworthy with sensitive employee data.
