Now Hiring: HR Generalist!

We’re looking for a capable and hands-on HR Generalist to join our team in the telecommunications industry. This role will support core HR functions including recruiting, onboarding, and coordinating IT setup for field and office staff.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, tech-savvy, and understands the fast-paced, high-compliance environment of telecom and construction operations.

Overview

This role supports the HR function in a fast-moving telecom/construction operations environment, with responsibilities spanning recruiting coordination, onboarding logistics, IT setup, and ongoing HR inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruiting efforts for field crews and office staff, including posting jobs, screening candidates, and scheduling interviews
• Manage onboarding logistics: create and ship welcome kits including laptops, tablets, phones, PPE, and other required gear
• Set up employee accounts for email, domain access, and company systems
• Track and maintain employee records including certifications (e.g., OSHA, CDL, DOT Med Cards), licenses, and safety training
• Support offboarding by disabling accounts, recovering equipment, and updating records
• Serve as a point of contact for day-to-day HR questions and administrative support
• Collaborate with operations, IT, and field leadership to ensure smooth employee transitions and compliance

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of HR experience, preferably in construction, telecom, utilities, or field-based operations
• Working knowledge of HR practices, recruiting workflows, and basic IT coordination
• Comfortable setting up mobile devices, laptops, and user accounts across various platforms (Google Workspace, Microsoft, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines
• Experience with HRIS systems, applicant tracking tools, and digital onboarding platforms is a plus
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
