Job Title: HR Management Support Specialist

Location: 1400 City View Drive, Columbus, OH 43215

Duration: 3+ months

Pay Rate: $20/hr - $25/hr on W2

What you’ll do

  • Support the recruiting and onboarding team among other admin duties related to onboarding coordination.
  • Assist HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition and Onboarding Specialist with hiring and onboarding activities, including opening job postings, job requisition management, screening applications, scheduling interviews (working with Workforce Management) and reserving HR conference rooms; ensure Hiring Manager is in the office and available on the Associate’s first day; take new hire badge photos; collect and track signed HR forms such as the Associate Handbook, Relationship Disclosure and Social Media acknowledgment.
  • Monitor Associate referrals and submit PSRs.
  • Provide occurrence reporting support for HR Business Partners.
  • Oversee and facilitate offboarding of Associates and External workforce to ensure completion of all processes, adhering to HR Management procedures for compliance and security of systems and facilities.
  • Collect, validate, and track required documentation for all new hires and consultants; ensure proper filing of onboarding and offboarding documents in the Associates’ electronic personnel file.
  • Enter Initial Data Entry (IDE) for new Associates into SAP, process I-9s, and submit Payroll Status Requests (PSRs) in a timely manner per HR procedures.
  • Understand internal system workflows (e.g., SharePoint, B2B, PRIMA, Active Directory) and maintain onboarding/offboarding policies in collaboration with HR leadership.
  • Procure equipment and system access for new Associates and External workers and ensure delivery by the first day of employment.
  • Collect, save, and initiate exit paperwork; prepare exit interview packets, and schedule exit interviews.
  • Prepare and send termination distribution emails per HR procedures.
  • Serve as main point of contact for high-volume restructure/reorganization communications.
  • Support onboarding communications and program tasks with the Talent Acquisition and Onboarding Specialist.
  • Support HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition and Onboarding Specialist with hiring and onboarding activities as described above.

What you’ll need to win

Education Requirement: High school diploma or GED required. 2+ years’ experience as HR generalist. 2+ years of Recruiting experience required.

Skills: Microsoft Office, Talent Management systems, ATS/HR software proficiency, Attention to Detail, Strong Communication Skills
