This position is key to creating a positive workplace culture, supporting our leaders, and managing essential HR functions. Based at our Louisville location, you’ll handle a mix of payroll, employee engagement, and HR support, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Job Title: HR Generalist

Location: On-site at 501 S. 15th Street, Louisville, KY 40203

Compensation: Salary based on experience (Paid Weekly)

Responsibilities

• Administer and process weekly payroll accurately and on time
• Manage job postings and recruitment efforts
• Oversee onboarding and orientation for new hires
• Support team engagement, rewards, and recognition programs
• Partner with leaders on hiring decisions, performance management, and disciplinary actions
• Assist in developing and maintaining HR policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and company standards
• Provide support for employee relations and workplace concerns
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and high-performing work culture

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (preferred) or
• 2+ years of HR experience, ideally in a generalist role with payroll exposure
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in payroll systems and HR software
• Knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and compliance
• Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality
• Organized, proactive, and able to balance multiple priorities
