Dark Wolf Solutions is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to support the National Background Investigation Services (NBIS). The SRE will be responsible for cloud operations and health monitoring. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineering professional to develop skills in cloud operations, infrastructure automation, observability, and incident response within a high-performance team supporting classified and unclassified mission platforms.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide expertise in system requirements, Solution Engineering, and System Design Documentation.
2. Analyze complex IT organizations to generate and track requirements through road maps, project plans, and collaboration tools.
3. Lead solution engineering, analysis of alternatives, and system design, including database design.
4. Identify and report discrepancies between enterprise architecture, IT strategy, and system designs, offering remediation recommendations.
5. Communicate with stakeholders to educate on software development lifecycle documentation and rationale.
6. Provide continuous monitoring support.
7. Onboard tenants to SSO, monitoring, and other common services.

Basic Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum of 7 years relevant experience.
3. US Citizenship with an active Secret or interim Secret clearance.

The estimated salary range is $130,000 - $170,000, based on experience, expertise, certifications, and clearance level.

Primary work location: Washington DC Metro area.
