Location: New York, NY. Employment type: Full-time. Salary range: $90,000 to $110,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Scope the system: work closely with the Product Owner and squad members to ensure appropriate granularity of requirements on epic/story level with focus on regulatory requirements (e.g., US Sanctions).
• Translate business needs: create models, diagrams, presentations and other documentation to help target audiences understand the business requirements.
• Facilitate team communication to achieve consensus on scope, design decisions, and implementation decisions.
• Validate requirements, perform UAT testing and user training if required; write and conduct UAT test cases and train non-squad stakeholders when needed.
• Proactively identify risks/issues that might affect the squad’s overall health.

Qualifications

• Approximately 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with strong experience in the Banking domain.
• Strong knowledge of gathering requirements using Agile Methodologies.
• Product knowledge: Know Your Client (KYC), Anti Financial Crime (AFC) / Private Bank regulatory changes.
• System knowledge: KYC platform systems; FNZ Appway knowledge is a plus; general core banking knowledge is advantageous.
• Regulation knowledge: US Sanctions, KYC Banking Policy, EU AML.
• Ability to analyze existing processes and set up optimized workflows for KYC platforms.
