Eliassen Group is hiring: IT Business Analyst in Sandy Springs

Overview

Our client in the Atlanta area is looking for a Business Analyst/ Business Process Analyst to add to their team. In this role you will be responsible for working with stakeholders across the business to document, analyze and improve critical processes, ensuring initiatives are supported by efficient workflows and robust systems. The BA will act as a bridge between business needs and technical solutions, helping capture requirements and business process design to shape how data, reporting and platforms are leveraged across the client.

Hybrid- Sandy Springs, GA

IT Business Analyst

Must be local to the Atlanta area and work a Hybrid schedule

Duration: 6+ month contract with possible extensions

Location: Sandy Springs, GA, 3 days a week onsite

Rate: $30-$35 hourly w2

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document and visualize current business processes and workflows
• Identify pain points, inefficiencies, redundancies and opportunities for improvement through process mapping and analysis
• In-depth process analysis and documentation
• Develop process maps and documentation using industry-standard tools and methodologies
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions to validate findings, capture feedback and requirements
• Recommend process improvements and change management impacts
• Partner with solution architects and analyze data from multiple sources
• Define and document future-state requirements in collaboration with business and technical teams
• Track and communicate progress through status reports and stakeholder updates
• Contribute to solution design, whether process redesigns or system requirements, ensuring solutions are practical, scalable and aligned with business goals

Qualifications:

• Strong business process design and business process management experience
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to break down complex workflows
• Proficiency in process mapping and visualization tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart)
• Solid data literacy to interpret process performance and identify improvement opportunities
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills for engaging diverse stakeholders
• Creative problem-solving skills to recommend practical, impactful solutions
• Local to the Atlanta area and can work hybrid schedule
