Base pay range: $26.00/hr - $34.00/hr

PATRIOT TRUSS & COMPONENTS is looking for an experienced and motivated Mechanic Technician. In this position, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining equipment, vehicles, and/or machinery to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on vehicles, equipment, or machinery
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and technical issues accurately and efficiently
• Use diagnostic tools, manuals, and technical resources to troubleshoot problems
• Replace or repair defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
• Ensure all work meets safety standards and complies with company and industry regulations
• Keep work areas organized, clean, and safe
• Communicate repair needs, timelines, and costs with supervisors
• Stay current with new technology, tools, and repair methods

Requirements

• The minimum work week to consist of Monday–Friday
• Normal hours 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (additional hours may be required at times to meet deadlines)
• Proven experience as a mechanic, technician, or in a related role
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Be available via phone on vacation in case of an emergency
• Attending weekly meetings as needed. If a meeting cannot be made a 24-hour notice will be needed
