Ecolab Life Sciences is hiring: IT Operations Support Specialist in Saint Paul

Overview

IT Operations Support Specialist at Ecolab Life Sciences. Location: Saint Paul, MN. Hybrid role (3 days in office, 2 days remote). On-call position with expectations to resolve issues promptly when paged.

What You Will Do

• Monitor and respond to system notification messages
• Maintain departmental documentation
• Provide end user support with IBMi sessions
• Complete daily operations tasks from daily log
• Communicate with other support personnel, local and remote
• On-call duties on a rotation basis
• Utilize Robot suite of automation products to schedule jobs, distribute output, monitor messages
• Manage backups, provide backup schedules to Eagan IT staff, verify completion, perform restores as requested
• Complete IT Security requests related to IBMi (AS400)
• Troubleshoot hardware and software
• Analyze processing errors and work with development to review and resolve errors or automate handling
• Analyze Robot Schedule environment and implement adds/moves/changes to optimize job execution
• Support ad hoc project requests from CDS Leadership

Minimum Qualifications

• High School or GED
• Two years of work experience
• Proficiency with hardware and software support
• Strong PC and systems skills; proficient in Microsoft Office suite

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of work experience on the IBM Platform
• Strong organization, planning and prioritizing skills
• Customer service or help desk experience
• Experience using call management software such as Service Now
• Strong analytical skills with ability to manage competing priorities
• Proficient in EPM or Hyperion, SAP, Power BI

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $58,900.00 - $88,300.00. Compensation depends on experience, education, training, geography, and other factors. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
