Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including:

• Month and end-year processes
• Accounts payable/receivable
• Cash receipts
• General ledger
• Payroll and utilities
• Treasury, budgeting
• Cash forecasting
• Revenue and expenditure variance analysis
• Capital assets reconciliations
• Trust account statement reconciliations
• Check runs
• Fixed asset activity
• Debt activity

Additional responsibilities include:

• Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and producing financial reports
• Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
• Coordinating and completing annual audits
• Providing recommendations for improvements
• Improving systems and procedures, initiating corrective actions
• Assigning projects and supervising staff for compliance and accuracy
• Meeting financial objectives
• Maintaining fiscal records

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as Accounting Manager, Supervisor, or Finance Manager
• Advanced skills in MS Office, accounting software, and databases
• Ability to manipulate large data sets
• Knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting principles, laws, and regulations
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Leadership and supervisory skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
