Founded in 1987 and located in San Francisco’s Presidio, the Biodiversity Funders Group (BFG) is a professional association of grantmakers committed to a sustainable, just, and healthy future for all life on Earth through a vibrant and effective philanthropic sector.
BFG supports member-driven programs and initiatives focusing on climate and energy, marine ecosystems, land and freshwater conservation, Mexico, Chile, the Andean-Amazon Basin, and global conservation efforts. ABOUT THE POSITION
The Program Director manages two of the organization’s oldest and most popular core programs and supports additional educational and engagement opportunities for members. Responsibilities include coordinating multiday meetings, webinars, and events, as well as spearheading assessments, reports, and resources as needed. This position reports to the Executive Director and is supported by other program and administrative staff. The previous director held similar roles with increasing authority for over two decades.
COMPENSATION
This is a full-time position with an excellent benefits package. The starting annual salary is $80,000.
NOTE
BFG is also seeking to fill a Membership Coordinator position this winter.
