Patient Care Coordination Associate

plays a critical role in enhancing the patient experience by managing various patient service duties. This includes overseeing patient intake, facilitating office visits, ensuring a smooth check-out process, and scheduling appointments. Additionally, this position involves managing reporting functions for the clinic, including compliance and corporate statistics. Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM. Schedule determined by supervisor.(8-hour shifts) Location:

This role requires travel to the following locations 50% of the time: 8410 W. Warm Springs Road, Suite 10, Las Vegas, NV 58 N Pecos Road, Henderson, NV 2010 Goldring, Las Vegas, NV Primary Responsibilities: Scan insurance cards, ensuring all paperwork is correctly completed and signed. Collect co-pays, co-insurance, deductibles, and outstanding balances. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the front office and waiting area. Print schedules for medical assistants and physicians. Balance daily logs and payments, posting them accurately. Facilitate the patient check-out process. Schedule radiology appointments and provide lab orders to patients. Verify eligibility for all locations and update electronic health records (EHR) accordingly. Issue referrals to outside specialists. Obtain authorizations for office procedures and radiology as necessary. Handle incoming calls across three phone queues (scheduling, high priority, overflow). Gather and update demographic information for both new and existing patients. Collect insurance details. Route calls to the appropriate departments. Coordinate intake consultation requests from physicians for on-call colleagues. Assist in floating across departments within all clinics. Perform additional duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED or higher. 2+ years of experience in a medical setting. 1+ year of familiarity with Nevada medical insurances. 1+ year of experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR). Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant applications. Willingness to travel to various offices within the Las Vegas area (25%). Preferred Qualifications: 1+ year of mentoring and training experience. Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy. Understanding of EPRG and Medicare Advantage quality requirements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both in person and over the phone. Bilingual in English and Spanish. Compensation for this role ranges from $16.00 to $27.69 per hour, depending on full-time employment and factors like local labor markets, education, and experience.
