Job Title: Wire Harness Assembly Technician
Job Description
Are you experienced in wire harness building within Military, Aerospace, Aviation, or heavy industrial industries? Join a dynamic and innovative start-up company that is on the cutting edge of technology. As a Wire Harness Assembly Technician, you will support the Assembly/Production department by building large industrial wire harnesses from scratch. These harnesses are similar to those found in Aviation or Aerospace assemblies and require the ability to read and interpret drawings.
Responsibilities
Support all wire harness and cable assembly tasks for the Assembly/Production department.
Collaborate with a manufacturing team of 15-20 to build large industrial wire harnesses from scratch.
Read and interpret drawings to create complex wire harnesses without formal schematics.
Utilize mechanical and electrical assembly tools, including torque wrenches, crimpers, and cutting tools.
Work with Aviation, Aerospace, Military, or industrial assemblies and D399 connectors.
Demonstrate a passion for mechanical projects and problem solving.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 2+ years of recent experience building harnesses for Aviation, Aerospace, Military, or industrial assemblies.
IPC-620 certification or experience with Mil-Spec Connectors.
Ability to cut, crimp, and label wires.
Proficient in mechanical and electrical assembly tools.
Ability to interpret drawings to create wire harnesses from scratch.
Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and effective communication.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience using AF8s or AFM8s to manufacture harnesses.
Experience in aircraft mechanics.
Experience in the early stages of a start-up company.
Hobbies involving mechanical projects.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
