Job Description
We are seeking skilled and knowledgeable maintenance technician to add to our team in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment. The position involves working primarily with plastic injection machinery and offers opportunities for overtime. Must be comfortable working independently and within a team setting.
Responsibilities
Integrate all phases of electronic/automated equipment installation, updates, and repairs.
Participate in continuous improvement processes and general equipment upgrades.
Work on automated robotic machines and plastic mold injection machines.
Edit and troubleshoot PLCs, including ABB 5, Slick 500, 5000, and compact Logix.
Repair and replace hydraulics, pneumatics, sensors, cables, and conveyor belt parts.
Utilize HMI with PLCs.
Skills & Qualifications
+5 years of machine repair experience in a manufacturing facility.
Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience.
Strong experience in hydraulic and pneumatic repairs.
Experience with automated machines.
Plastic injection machine repair experience is highly .

Work Environment
This position is located in a Tier 1 manufacturing facility specializing in plastic injection. The plant produces external windows, sunroofs, and sliding windows for major automotive brands. The environment is fast-paced and can be noisy, but it is clean and well-organized. The Plant spans approximately 100,000 square feet, housing 9 presses, over 30 assembly robots, and several new cells. The facility promotes a team-oriented culture while encouraging independent work on projects.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $34.00/hr.
