Job Title: Aerospace Assembly Technician

Job Description

This role involves working in a dynamic and innovative environment focused on the manufacturing and assembly of advanced satellite technologies.

Responsibilities

Perform structural assembly, electrical compaction, and torquing of bolts using micrometers.

Handle fiber optic cables, perform cable splicing, and manage sub-installation of components.

Execute assembly, shipping, and rigging tasks using cranes, pallet jacks, and riding 'lindy'.

Engage in panel line activities including applying decals, lifting up to 35 lbs, and installing sub-assemblies.

Conduct mechanical and electrical testing, and follow aerospace specifications and standards.

Use torque wrenches and read blueprints in a manufacturing environment.

Comply with procedural requirements and report non-conformances.

Demonstrate ownership and accountability for assigned projects or tasks.

Essential Skills

Previous manufacturing experience is required.

Ability to follow basic work instructions and handle repetitive tasks with a focus on quality.

Proficiency in reading blueprints, drawings, and schematics.

Mechanical aptitude with experience using torque wrenches and basic hand tools.

Computer literacy, particularly with SAP.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Aerospace experience is highly desirable.

Experience in automotive manufacturing, construction, or medical device manufacturing is beneficial.

Demonstrated ability to follow visual and written instructions.

Experience in mechanical assembly and procedural compliance.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $27.00/hr.
