- Review collateral documentation received from lenders and update the Debt Management and Collection System.
- Request Promissory Notes and storage location documentation from lenders/servicers.
- Review loans eligible for mandatory assignment to the federal government. Process corrections for accounts that fail edits. Prepare files to be sent to the U.S. Department of Education.
- Maintain, update and correct various spreadsheets, reports, and databases.
- Prepare routine reports or assist others in the preparations of reports, following established guidelines.
- Perform various clerical or office assistance tasks such as scanning documents and verifying accuracy of data from scanned documents.
- Receive, screen, review, and verify documents, forms, promissory notes, and other documents for completeness, content, and accuracy.
- Review monthly General Ledger Account reconciliations to follow up on and resolve outstanding issues.
- As needed and as directed, contact various internal and external parties to obtain information.
- Enter data and information into and retrieve data and information from computerized systems.
- Assist in gathering or compiling data for reports, tables, or other products.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail.
- Filing, faxing, and scanning.
- Other duties as assigned.
