Job Summary

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Back Office Medical Assistant with strong administrative skills for a Contract-to-Hire (CTH) position. This role is with a top-tier oncology practice and offers an excellent opportunity for professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments, supporting both clinical and front-office operations.

Responsibilities / Job Duties

• Perform back-office duties, including patient rooming and vital signs.
• Handle a variety of administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and preparing patient charts.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, handling inbound calls and directing inquiries.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure a smooth and efficient patient flow.
• Assist with pulling patient records, especially from Epic EMR, and managing insurance authorizations.

Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant diploma or certificate.
• Demonstrated experience in a front-office or administrative role.
• Proficiency in scheduling, chart preparation, and insurance authorization processes.
• Prior experience in an oncology or specialized medical setting (preferred).

Schedule / Shift

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (with the option for an 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM shift).
