- Read and interpret work orders, including units of measurement.
- Manually transport up to 50lbs and/or with team lift) parts to staging areas for production
- Manually cut, trim, and edge wire borders
- Use hand tools
- Set up machines to start a production cycle
- Manually control and adjust machine settings (e.g., speed) for optimal output
- Set up raw materials or parts to feed into machines
- Focus on making sure that quality aligns with production results
- Maintains the organization and cleanliness of the work area.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
- At least 6 months of consistent, recent work in a manufacturing or shop work environment (metal or wood shop experience is preferred)
- Ability to stand, lift (up to 50lbs frequently), move, bend, and reach for extended periods
- Experience with precision measuring instruments and hand tools preferred.
- Exceptional hand-eye coordination
- Willingness to learn, apply knowledge, and work both independently and as part of a team.
