As the Production Supervisor, you play a vital role in ensuring employee safety, maintaining product quality, and optimizing asset performance, all while adhering to the production schedule. This position demands exceptional leadership skills, including active participation in the hiring process, onboarding new employees, managing performance, and implementing corrective actions. Your commitment to achieving results will be evaluated through key performance metrics, ultimately determining the success of your efforts. **Work Schedule** : **_Sunday - Thursday/10:00pm - 6:30am (flexibility to work weekends when required)_** **Ensure the timely implementation of the people development plan and verify the competencies of your team in accordance with the agreed plan with the Project Manager. This includes providing proper training, including equipment operation, safety procedures, and hygiene practices. + Communicate and execute activities with environmental impact in accordance with environmental management protocols. + Ensure the achievement of quality objectives, including regular adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), conducting sanitation audits, performing food safety checks, and conducting product quality inspections as per company policies. + Actively participate in preventing and correcting quality-related errors. + Monitor and enforce personnel hygiene and safety practices, such as the use of protective clothing (uniforms), changing shoes, and handwashing. + Review daily target achievements and report any deviations during on-the-floor and review meetings. + Facilitate smooth handoffs and effectively communicate key information to peers, team members, and Production Management. + Ensure continuous line controls and take immediate corrective action to maintain prescribed quality standards and comply with manufacturing instructions, internal and external regulations, procedures, and policies. + Maintain effective employee and industrial relations management to ensure ongoing smooth factory operations. + Ensure the distribution of skills is adequate to effectively achieve the production plan. + Ensure timely product launches in coordination with the business unit/area. + Coordinate with quality, engineering, and administration to ensure proper maintenance of facilities. + BA/BS degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant manufacturing or production work experience (including experience gained during military service) preferred in lieu of a degree. + 1-3 years of prior production supervisory experience is required. + Knowledge of cGMPs (current Good Manufacturing Practices) is required. Preferred experience in the food and beverage, dietary supplement, or pharmaceutical industries, with a strong understanding of strict GMP guidelines. + Ability to maintain a safe working environment through effective housekeeping and safety practices. + Familiarity with AS400, Oracle, Kronos, or SAP is strongly preferred. + Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. + Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus. + Strong aptitude for building personal relationships based on trust, mutual respect, and open communication. + Adaptability is essential, including the ability to adjust your approach to meet varied task requirements, align your behavior with others' styles, shift priorities to accommodate changing demands, and quickly adapt to new responsibilities and tasks. + Proven ability to tailor communication styles to different audiences, effectively facilitating group coaching sessions and sharing information. + Strong interpersonal skills, consistently maintaining a positive attitude and the ability to motivate individuals, particularly through mentoring and coaching. + Skilled in helping individuals identify both short-term and long-term development needs and providing the necessary support to foster their growth. + Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously through highly developed organizational skills. + Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, with a focus on root cause problem-solving a plus. + High energy level and excellent follow-up skills. + Nestlé offers performance-based incentives and a competitive total rewards package, which includes a 401k with company match, healthcare coverage and a broad range of other benefits.
