Viridian Staffing's Client is currently seeking an Office Manager, with heavy regulatory and payroll experience, to help manage a fast paced cannabis company about 40 minutes outside of the Portland, Maine, area. Founded in 2013, Viridian Staffing ( is the premier staffing, recruiting, and HR consulting firm solely dedicated to organizations in and supporting the commercial, medical, and industrial cannabis / hemp industry. You will be responsible for running the day-to-day activities of the office including but not limited to ordering supplies, inventory tracking in seed-to-sale tracking system (ie METRC), billing/invoicing, on-boarding of new personnel, processing payroll, working with the appropriate Maine legislative/public agencies to ensure compliance with new and existing regulations, preparing orders/deliveries, month end reporting, and managing vendor relationships. You should have at least 2+ years of Office Management experience, including the handling of payroll. Ideally, you also have 1 year of Bookkeeping experience. If you are proficient in Quickbooks, Dropbox, Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office, including Excel, scheduling, payroll, preparing detailed reports and are a strategic thinker with a 'roll up your sleeves' attitude, this could be the right position for you. Exceptional communication, organizational and problem-skills are required. Experience managing a licensed regulated Cannabis facility in Maine is preferred. This role requires the following:

- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time, use hands and fingers for data entry for 8 hours or more, some lifting, squatting, bending, some pushing and pulling.
- According to the State Laws of Maine, you must be at least 21 years of age to work for a licensed cannabis operation.
