* As soon as credentialed - ongoing * Duration: 1 Year * Schedule: On-site, all shifts are 6a-6p and 6p-6a
* Call Coverage: No call * Weekends and Nights: Included
* Cover multiple sites
Clinical Details:
* Number of Beds: 18 * Daily Admissions: 10% at FSEDs, 20% at main campus * Consults: Multiple per day * Trauma Center: Level IV; FSEDs are not * Case Acuity: High acuity cases * Required Procedures: Intubations, central line placement, ultrasound utilization, OB delivery, dislocation reductions, chest tube placement, trauma management, laceration repair * Support Staff: APP coverage at each site * APP Coverage: 9-24 hrs/day * Average Patient Census: 80 per day * Common Cases: Variety of Emergency Medicine cases * EM Physicians per Shift: 1 EM per shift at all sites except one
Requirements:
* Case Logs: Required * DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active * Board Certified in ABEM for main campus
* ABFM or ABIM with at least 2 years of ED experience or Emergency Medicine fellowship for FSEDs
* Providers living inside of 50 miles from the facility will be considered "Local", and will not be eligible for this role * Active TX license
