The

Vice President of Operational Support & Innovation

will play a key role in overseeing Mercy Housing Management Group’s national operations. Reporting to the President/Senior Vice President, this role will lead key support functions, manage relationships with third-party service providers, and drive initiatives that strengthen compliance, streamline processes, and advance software implementation across the organization.

This is a hybrid position based in Denver, CO.

Compensation Pay:

$185,000-220,000 annually, dependent on experience

Duties

Oversee assigned departments/teams, including Pipeline and Marketing, Regulatory Compliance, Software Operations, Third-party File Compliance, National Management Specialists and/or other support departments of MHMG.

Participate in National and Regional Affordable Housing and Property Management Associations, to represent Mercy Housing Management Group and stay abreast of trends and information, which may impact the management Company.

Oversee and ensure compliance with all governmental agencies for contractual arrangements for which MHMG is directly responsible.

Collaborate and interact with all MHMG VPs and Regional VPs on management of the properties as directed by the MHMG President/Senior Vice-President.

Participate in planning activities of Mercy Housing Management Group, including the strategic planning process and the development of Business Plans, as requested.

Keep current on all updates and changes in affordable housing programs and requirements.

Participate in the Mercy Asset Life Cycle Process for properties Mercy Housing is considering adding to the portfolio.

Oversee pipeline and lease-up process for all new properties coming online to ensure that processes are aligned with all functional business areas and that all regulatory and software requirements are met and satisfied.

Lead efforts to evaluate, pilot and implement new property technology solutions in order to streamline processes and improve efficiencies of the organization.

Consult and collaborate with staff from the GBCs, Asset Management, Resident Services, Development and Corporate Support Teams to ensure effective operations throughout the portfolio.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum of five (5) years in national / multi-regional property management, or housing regulatory organization / agency, with a strong focus on compliance.

Current Property Management Certifications or willingness and ability to attain.

Thorough knowledge of HUD, Low Income Housing Tax Credit and other affordable housing programs.

Demonstrated experience with property operations software, including RealPage, and a track record of successfully implementing new technology.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree.

Advanced knowledge of RealPage and OneSite.
