We are seeking a dynamic and experienced
Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Manager
to lead and support the Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistant (PAs) team within our comprehensive Cancer Center (Hematology/Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Breast Surgery/Imaging and Adult/Pediatric Infusion Centers). The APP Manager will play a critical role in driving operational excellence, enhancing care delivery, and supporting APP professional development, while maintaining the highest standards of patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and administrative leaders to ensure safe, efficient, and coordinated care across all service areas.
Oversee daily clinical operations of the NP/PA teams, including staffing, scheduling, onboarding, and ongoing competency evaluation.
Ensure optimal workflow integration in the Hematology/Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Breast Surgery/Imaging, and Infusion Centers, including NP/PA oversight of pre-treatment assessments, symptom management, and patient education.
Monitor and support clinical quality, compliance, and performance metrics in alignment with institutional goals.
Partner with credentialing and human resources to support recruitment, onboarding, privileging, and retention.
Lead and participate in quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives across the cancer care continuum.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that supports team engagement and high performance.
Qualifications
Master’s or Doctorate degree
from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
Current and unrestricted NYS Licensure as a Nurse Practitioner.
National Board Certification, ANCC or AANP.
Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Certification.
Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Certification.
Minimum of seven (7) years of practical experience as a practicing PA/NP.
Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in the area of Hematology/Oncology-Infusion Services, with a desire for exposure/experience in other cancer therapy modalities, such as Breast Surgery/Imaging, Radiation Oncology.
At least two (2) years of leadership or managerial experience.
In-depth understanding of cancer care workflows, infusion therapy, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Demonstrated leadership, communication, and team-building skills.

Salary:
$167K - $209K/yr. We offer comprehensive benefits, including a 403(b) retirement plan.
