Foster City or East Bay Office DATA ANALYST
As a Data Analyst at MidPen Housing, you will support strategic priorities by delivering accurate reports and dashboards, analyzing organizational data, and partnering with stakeholders across functions to inform business decisions. This role combines technical expertise with strong analytical and communication skills to translate complex data into actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences, while ensuring high-quality, reliable information to drive organizational performance. Responsibilities
Reporting and Data Visualization Develop ad-hoc and standardized reports and dashboards that support MidPen’s strategic priorities Design clear visualizations and charts that highlight key insights and support data-informed business decisions Data Analysis & Interpretation Extract, segment, and analyze organizational data to identify trends and key insights that inform business decisions Provide data-driven recommendations to help improve operational effectiveness and business performance Business Collaboration & Requirements Gathering Partner with employees and stakeholders to understand the processes and systems generating data Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements related to operational processes, systems, and reporting needs Communication & Documentation Present and communicate analysis results and data definitions clearly and effectively through both written and verbal formats, tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences Maintain thorough documentation of analyses, reports, and data definitions in line with best practices QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the education, knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong background in data analysis and reporting; industry experience is a plus Skilled in presenting complex data to technical and non-technical audiences Proficiency with BI tools like PowerBI, Tableau, or similar Collaborative experience across multiple business functions SQL programming knowledge preferred Familiarity with data management and modeling techniques Experience developing Salesforce reports and dashboards preferred Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree required; B.S. in business administration, economics, finance, mathematics preferred 3 years’ experience in related position; or equivalent combination of education and experience Pay Range:
$100,000 – $125,000 Annual Salary – Pay based on applicable experience and qualifications Benefits and Compensation
