Field Reimbursement Manager Immunology GI - Seattle North/South, WA. This is a field-based role within Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine (JJIM). The Patient Engagement and Customer Solutions (PECS) team focuses on patient experience, helping patients start and stay on treatments across the portfolio. The FRM serves as the primary field-based lead for education, assistance, and issue resolution with healthcare providers (HCPs) and their staff regarding patient access to J&J Immunology therapies, including up to 50% on-site time with HCPs. Responsibilities
Educate HCPs on product coverage, prior authorizations, appeals, reimbursement processes, claims submissions, procedures, and coding requirements of payer organizations (local and government payers) for core and launch products. Collaborate with field support teams (sales representatives, key account managers) and serve as reimbursement expert for the local team. Address critical access and affordability issues for patients with a sense of urgency; partner with managed care colleagues to understand policies and changes. Conduct field-based reimbursement and access support, education, and creative problem-solving aligned to FRM Rules of Engagement. Build strong, trust-based relationships with customers in assigned Immunology accounts; manage territory logistics, routing, and account business planning. Maintain and grow knowledge of national, regional, local, and account market dynamics including coverage and coding requirements; expand knowledge of hub and specialty distribution channels. Collaborate with internal J&J departments (marketing, sales, medical science, SCG, IBG, HCC, PECS) and serve as subject matter expert on access and affordability solutions across multiple payer types and plans (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid Managed Care, Commercial). Execute business with high ethical, legal, and compliance standards; complete required training timely. Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree (preferably in healthcare or business/public administration). MBA or MPH preferred. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in account management and/or reimbursement in a provider setting. Expertise with pharmacy and medical/buy & bill benefits, coding, and billing. Reimbursement or managed care experience (revenue cycle, buy-and-bill, prior authorization, coding, and appeals). Ability to build relationships across a matrix organization. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Valid US driver's license with compliant driving record. Ability to travel up to 50%. Permanent residence in the listed territory. Preferred:
Immunology disease state experience; advanced degree or certifications in prior authorization, billing, and coding; in-depth payer policy knowledge; Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Word, and Excel proficiency. Compensation and Benefits
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $100,000 to $172,500. Eligible employees may participate in medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and other Company benefit programs, as well as the 401(k) savings plan and long-term incentive program.
