Responsibilities
Draft and prosecute high-quality U.S. and international patent applications
Manage and supervise patent portfolios for a diverse, technology-focused client base
Mentor and oversee junior associates, providing guidance and training
Ensure timely, strategic, and accurate patent filings aligned with client goals
Collaborate with cross-functional legal and technical teams on IP strategy
Qualifications
Minimum of six years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution
Undergraduate or advanced degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, software engineering, computer science, or physics
Demonstrated experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications related to GPUs, TPUs, accelerators, neural engines, and robotics circuitry
High level of academic achievement and prior Am Law or equivalent law firm experience
Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills
Ideal Candidate: Candidates must have big law or similar experience; very strong academics and a stable resume (no temp/contact/freelance or jumpy backgrounds will be considered)
